Care Home Garden

We visited my wife's father in his care home today. He is 95 and a widower. He seems very settled and well cared for, a big improvement on his miserable existence at home.

They celebrated VE Day  recently and the flags are still out, looking resplendent. We had a sharp summer storm, thunder and lightning.and lots of rain. But it didn't rain in Shropshire. Home this evening and it is still dry and arid.

Ah well, better luck next time.
