Peony

Different day, different peony. This one isn't from the allotment but one of the peonies Aletheia sent me when I was ill, along with chicken soup and a packet of Gingernuts. She knows me so well. 

That was last week and the flowers are just starting to come out. So different from the allotment peony. 

Another quiet day working from home. Managed to get a few things done off the list whilst also adding a few more to do. 
Aletheia and Jon have gone to Spain so Sam is looking after Stevie. Not quite sure what Lizzie thinks but she has been pretty absent, hiding in the bedroom with Francis who has spent the day in bed again, still feeling awful and with a right old fever going on. Hopefully he'll be better tomorrow. 

Talked to Dad who sounded brighter and has been getting out a bit more. It's hard work being old and ill and someone else's carer but he is very philosophical about it all which keeps him going. And a new wine box from the Wine Society.
