Brexit

Ummm, holiday isn't going to plan. 

We are booked on the 8am ferry Friday morning, but I won't be on it, as I'll be at the passport office at 8.40.

My passport was issued in April 2015 for 10 years and 9 months, still enough time to allow for 6 months before it's due to be renewed. Except post Bexit, you can't travel on a passport older than 10 years. So despite having a valid passport, it turns out that i don't.

£222 later, I have an emergency appointment at the passport office and should have a new one 4 hours after that.

Everyone very disappointed, probably the husband most of all as he now has to do the ferry and French drive without me. They will all be fine.
