Happy Day

Another quiet day until evening. Jason and I walked to the market and got food for dinner. We passed street art so I took some photos.

Elke cooked salmon and mashed potatoes and made a salad. We four ate and then Elke headed off to a meeting. Soon Ethan arrived. We spent a happy evening together. Elke joined us after her meeting.

Jason and Ethan are like brothers. I met Ethan’s mom in childbirth class when she was pregnant with Ethan’s brother Josh and I was pregnant with Jason. We became best friends and were still hanging out together when Ethan was born two years later. So I’ve known him all his life. So I love when I get a chance to spend time with him. He works as a cowboy and is in Argentina during our winter and in Southern California during our summer. He regaled us with tales of the work he’s doing as a packer with groups of back country tourists.
