Box of chocolates

Well, not quite! A box of slides arrived in the post from Sweden with beautifully very thinly sectioned pieces of shell from a population we are working on. A bit like tree bark, enough information to tell how each individual grew each year. They are all so interesting and different, a bit like a box of chocolates!!!
