ASTRANTIA

I had the scheduled telephone appointment follow up call from Preston Hospital just checking how I was, answering any concerns I may have, giving advice and ensuring I had people I could contact should I need to.  I am now discharged at Preston Hospital and handed back over to Lancaster, who have already seen me anyway.  I've been advised to look at attending a "Moving Forward" course by Breast Cancer Now, which I had been thinking of anyway and they do these courses in Barrow and they are just two days back to back.  Then I will get an invite via Lancaster to attend an Education event in abou 8 weeks time I think.  So now just yearly follow ups and screenings for 5 years.   OUTSTANDING SERVICE - COULDN'T HAVE BEEN BETTERED.

Today's flower is the astrantia that grows in the same place every year.  I usually take a photo of it's very photogenic multi seed-head centre but I just loved the colours and shape of this with the flower head looking down,  so that is today's blip for you.
