Mystery damselfly

We had a lovely wander this afternoon ..... made the most of the good weather before it spoils itself for the Bank Holiday weekend!

Lovely to see some damselflies, including a Common Blue.

We also saw this one which I have been unable to identify!

It has a partly green body & blue stripes on the base of its abdomen .... hope somebody in Blipland will know :-)

Still seeing quite a few butterflies about too.

Finger's crossed for Friday ..... I'm at the fracture clinic pm & hopefully will leave without my cast! 

My arm has been in plaster since the beginning of April .... I want my arm & hand back!

Update: think I have identified it as a Azure damselfly ~ female variant (green form) ..... thanks to Miranda1008 for giving me that idea to check that!
