SURPRISE, SURPRISE!!!!

Thrilled to find a pair of swans with six cygnets. They are not the resident ones, but still so exciting to see, that is until the heron attached the little family. The cob was standing up with his wings out, and suddenly the cygnets quickly climbed onto the backs of the parents. It was rather worrying, however I clapped my hands and the heron flew down the canal. Really hope they stay safe, I will dread going there the next time. It has been a beautiful day. A couple in extras.
