Second time round!

I usually have an orchid on our mantelpiece, buying one when all the flowers die. I then put the orchids on a windowsill and sometimes they decide to flower again….like this one which I’m very pleased with!

After a swim I took a friend to the Sunbury Embroidery Gallery to have a look at the latest exhibition and have a coffee in the cafe. We also walked round the nice gardens which have lots of roses flowering.

A visit to the allotment …it didn’t need so much watering after the rain yesterday and I planted a few more seedlings. Also picked the first couple of strawberries and ate them there..they  were delicious.

Did some long overdue sewing…cutting off the long sleeves of some T shirts and a nice cotton shirt …as hoping for some warm weather!
