Salads

My vegetable garden is getting going and we now have a good supply of salad leaves.
I found Mr Blackbird in the cold frame this morning, somehow he had squeezed his way in! I released him, but he has done a lot of scratching about around the young plants which is annoying. I suppose it’s the only moist soil anywhere so you can’t blame him!
Rob helped me check the beehives this afternoon and they have been busy making honey! We smuggled out four frames which were bulging, and I have collected several jars worth of lovely spring honey! I don’t think this amazing weather is continuing, but if we get some sunshine in July it would be Lime honey time!
