New arrivals

Yet another mainly sunny day but quite cool.
Good Health Walk, plenty of walkers and chat today.
Cafe was very busy but we made it to the end without too many errors.
I was nearly home and remembered we needed bread so had to divert to the local supermarket and it was nearly 4pm by the time I was home and sorted out. However, I'd heard the swans had young so I took a short walk to visit them, just 2 this year, maybe the disturbances by fire-raisers last month had an effect. I got a decent shot of a heron I disturbed but it was a second too late so wasn't in quite the right place, it's now in extras.
Mr Rat arrived home just after me and we decided to cut the grass (him) and plant out some veg (me) before tea as the latter wouldn't take long to prepare.
Yet more admin this evening, but best to get it over and done with.
