Life Changing

Clearly I never took this photo but it is a picture that brings me immense joy. Sam suffered through the Covid Pandemic. At the time she was at uni in London, sometimes the only one in her accommodation tower block, isolated with no one to talk to other than mum, dad and brother on the phone.
On graduating she came home and began the road to improving her mental health and well being.

Then she discovered rugby.

It has transformed her, Sam has a different circle of friends, is more sociable, more active, fitter and enjoying life to the full. She has not missed a game, sometimes pushing herself to recover from injury between matches.
On the horizon is her first end of season awards dinner, she is not likely to win anything individually but as part of the Women’s Team she is part of a winning team already.
