A day in the life

The Fox

I treated myself to a good lunch at the local hotel down in the harbour, they had a very nice lunch-buffé where I chose the cooked cod and then afterwards had an ice cream by the water. It didn't last long because of the very strong wind and chilly temperature but I had set myself up for a treat nomatter what, It is my birthday after all.

I had some summer flower seeds leftover from last year that I got into the ground in various places, raked some dead grass and tidied up the garden a bit. I decided to put off the traditional rhubarb pie on my birthday until Saturday, when the weather is supposed to be a bit better so I invited a few friends for coffee and pie and maybe some ice cream.

In the evening I went to my old job, the Folk Highschool, where they arranged their annual music festival. I wanted to listen to one of the bands "Räfven" 'The Fox', who plays very lively and entertaining klezmer music.
A lovely ending to my very own day.
