Pentland hills

A bit cloudy to start, but the sun wins out once again. Feels a bit cooler outside. Nice morning walk. Great view of Allermuir Hill. Quiet in the park. views of Fife still quite hazy. On one path, a cat has found it's ideal spot in the sun, or it is waiting for something to come out of nearby vegetation. It doesn't move as we walk around.it.

Nice clear skies in the afternoon. On Cockmylane, there is a small flock of starlings feeding, but hidden from the path. Photo shows the Caerketton Hill and Allermuir Hill. The green areas have been left to encourage flowers for 'No Mow May'. On the way back, the startlings have moved to a more open area. I was hoping to get a photo of the marsh orchids there, but instead took a quite photo of them feeding, Extra, before they saw me. The bird bottom left seems to have a slug, and spends a long time eating it. A nice seat in the park for a few minutes before heading home.
