Outstanding!

Went to see Calendar Girls at the Haverhill Arts Centre this evening.  It was a moving, funny, rollercoaster, triumph of a show put on by the excellent Centre Stage Company.  I was blown away by the talent and confidence of every single one of the 25+ actors on stage,  young and old, many of whom sang flawless solos, and errr, yes were required to take their clothes off!  The set design with the moving backdrop really worked too and of course the band were amazing.   

The night was a sell out and the standing ovation thoroughly deserved.  Locals, I'd urge you to go but I doubt you'd get tickets for the last couple of nights now as there is no way that anyone who has seen this show won't have already been raving about it...
