Another long day

I had 2 neighbors who wanted some work done, so I decided to put Albert and 2 of the guys on one property and I took the other 3 with me. The photo today shows the before and after shot of the garden I worked on. It's not finished yet, I will add more plants when we spread some mulch. It will be a monthly maintenance property too.
The other property was soil and sod plus some plants that had to be moved. The client is downsizing her garden, voluntarily. She started 2 years ago but only brought me in last year. Last year 3 of them laid 2 pallets of sod in 4 hours. This year it took 7 hours and 4 extra people for 2 of those hours. I think Albert tried to be too much of a perfectionist this time. The customer said she doesn't need things to be perfectly level. The area I worked on had goutweed growing, and the customer had said, just put some soil over it and the sod on top. The goutweed will grow thru the sod, but she can keep it mowed. 
Lots of rain in the forecast for tomorrow so it will be a paperwork day for me. The Photo Society has a coffee meet tomorrow morning, I may decide to go to that.
