Tiger's got a new toy...

Even after the house officially changed hands, there is still paperwork to do. I am so grateful for my sister as we share those responsibilities doing what are strengths are. Today was canceling the house insurance. A side note - people please have your loved ones keep the paperwork up to date - one document that could have helped us - the lawyer retired, took all his clients paperwork with him so the firm couldn't get us another original document. Anyhow, the first time I paid the insurance I had found out the parents retired and sold the agency to their son. Found out where he was but then found he moved again. I headed to that place this morning and although the corporate office was still there, without the policy number, they couldn't help me. So I headed to the bank to see uf there was something ib the safety deposit box - nope, nothing. Texted my sister and she found the paperwork for a third party earthquake insurance that had the last name of the family that ran the insurance agency. A quick Google search and found where they were located and everything went smoothly after that. My sister will set up the financials to take care of paying for our moms care.

Then I went shopping for the week and since I was given a $20 off pet supplies coupon - I stocked up on kitty supplies and of course I got Tiger another toy. You can see he likes it. Went home, took a nap and relaxed the rest of the day. I expect a 14 hour work day tomorrow and not likely to get everything done due to holiday traffic - we will see..
