Plum blossom

I know, I know. What am I doing blipping spring blossom only a week away from winter. This tree and others are confused.
We are in Tauranga for the weekend doing a bit of child minding. This plum tree is at my daughter’s place but we also saw plum blossom at my brother’s orchard this morning. He lives in Tauranga as well. I hope these trees remember to flower in spring.
