Dreaming spires….

…. and an Antony Gormley statue were just a few of the sights we saw while spending a most enjoyable day in Oxford. We walked around colleges whose names were so familiar from “University Challenge”. I was slightly disappointed to see only one reference to Detective Morse first extra) yet lots of Harry Potter shops and merchandise (I was tempted to buy a wand!). As Nick says, it’s probably a generational thing. We really liked Oxford and marvelled at the architecture of the old college buildings such as the Bodleian Library. (second extra)
