Shade
It was super hot on campus so I was glad to take advantage of this shady spot under the tree at lunchtime.
It was very quiet on campus as teaching and exams come to an end. I debated about continuing my research drop-ins but since there are still officially 3 weeks to go until the end of term I decided to keep them going. No-one came along this week - but I can still get on with other work if no-one drops by so I can just treat it as a chance for a change of scenery - and of course take advantage of the nearby cafe.
It was hard resisting their goodies this week as the lovely aroma of freshly baked chocolate croissants wafted about and smelled wonderful. It took immense willpower to just pick up a coffee.
It looks like the good weather may not hang about for next week - typical for a bank holiday and half term. As Leo will be revising I will be in the office at half term for once. Not sure much plodding will get done around campus if the weather is awful - it may have to be a gym/swim week instead.
