Queen protea, leucodendron and gum leaves

This photo shows part of a bunch that was a gift from my brother last week on Mothering Sunday. The queen protea and leucodendron are southern African natives but they thrive here so we think they have become naturalised. We're all Gondwanaland after all. The gum leaves are true Aussie citizens.

In the local having the one with M after two days of minding Ms Margot. It went well but I'm feeling it, especially with the heavy rain. This afternoon's rainbow is a herald of two sunny days ahead.

Happy weekend blippers and thanks as always to BikerBear for hosting flower Friday.
