Never smile at a….

Gharial…. Or Swindon’s famous crocodile!


I was invited to a special preview at Museum and Art Swindon this morning for the unveiling of the restored gharial ( a type of crocodile). https://www.edgeofexistence.org/species/gharial/

It is much loved in Swindon- I last photographed it in 2015 when it had lost some teeth and a few toes. All the gnashers are looking super sparkly now!

The chap in the picture is Jim Robbins- the leader of Swindon Borough Council who gamely took part in this picture.
