A friend’s haven

I took MightyMouse to school for an exam this morning, and rather than driving home and then back out to collect him, I went to hang out in a friend’s back garden for a couple of hours. She had work calls for one of those hours so I just read and enjoyed the peace.

MM came out reasonably happy.

Home to welcome some school gate friends who hadn’t seen our house. We then went for lunch over the road and wandered around Myddleton Gardens a couple of times. Lovely.

Back here for tea and cake until my MIL arrived for more tea and more cake.

And this evening is a normal Friday evening with Rooted etc.
