St Tydfil
Just before 9am I was at SilverImages house and we then set off in his car to get a cooked breakast at our normal cafe on The Polo Grounds, Pontypool (South Wales, UK).
I had no idea where we were going until after breakfast when we set of for the good half hour drive to Merthyr Tydfil town centre, where Ken wanted to follow the Taff History Trail.
I took more film photographs than digital, but did like the one of the River Bridge (over River Taff) crossing to St Tydfil Shopping Centre, with it's colours and dappled light (see extra) The main is one of the Old Jewish Synagogue that I took in black and white.
We then retuned to the coffee shop in the main street to see the black and white Photo' Exhibition of The Miners Strike by Walter Waygood whom I know, and over past fifty years has extensively photographically documented South Wales.
After a cold drink back at Ken's house, I eventually got home about 5.30pm and still not hungry aftr that breakfast but very much looking forward to some cold beers in our local pub tonight to see in the Bank Holiday weekend! Enjoy Yours!
