And this is a Blue butterfly??

This is the female Common Blue butterfly. Although it is not blue, it is still very beautiful indeed.
Excellent visit to Hoe Grange Quarry, a Derbyshire Wildlife Trust reserve near Brassington, Derbyshire.
After an inauspicious start, we saw a lovely variety of butterflies and dragonflies / damselflies as well as seeing / hearing a good number of birds.
