FESTIVAL DAY

Lazy morning and then L’s new fella arrived. I hadn’t met him before. They have been an item for a year now. L so deserves a nice partner after 2 horrible husbands. He seems really kind and friendly.
#we went for a pub lunch together and it was great to interrogate chat with him. After a dog walk together we then got ready in our layers for The Good Times Festival.
#it started well…my light up cat’s ears headbands went down well. I’m glad I got 10 sets!! My smuggled Capri Sun rum and illegal nuts were appreciated too!! only a little bit naughty

#it ended with lots of laughter, hoarse singing voices and sore dancing legs :)))

#Sister Sledge (Kathy Sledge) …what energy!! Loved singing along to We are Family, Frankie and Greatest Dancer.

#and Billy Ocean…what a legend…at 75 he was fabulous. Lots of audience participation esply with Great out of my dreams and into my car and my favourite When the going gets tough

We made it home by 10:30 but sat and shared memories with L’s youngest son! We used to spend several days together each week when they were little and we all lived close by.
