Ixia paniculata
...enjoying the last of the sunny days for a while.
A little South African cormous plant, borderline hardy in UK gardens but seemingly quite happy here on the Welsh coast. The front patch is looking good right now ... if you turn a blind eye to a few ragged edges!
A quiet day at home after yesterday's busy one out and about. Lots of laundry done to beat the change in the weather and a few minutes of gardening. Glazing pottery is a sedentary job, so I did quite a bit of that today too. Jamie came over for the afternoon and for tea bringing a delicious lemon curd tart he'd made as something to share for my birthday. Proper home-made lemon curd filling and super crunchy pastry. Delicious!
