Pit display

P6 have been working on a Formula 1 project, the first year the school has run it. They have built cars, developed branding, created a pit display, and delivered a presentation to their class. 

It all concluded with the F1 Race Day today where parents and younger year groups could visit the pit displays and where the teams competed by racing their cars on a special track.

It was a lovely event and a lovely project which CyclopsJnr has been very enthusiastic about. CyclopsJnr's team - Lightning Eagle - placed respectably mid table. There was a podium presentation and the winners were given bottles of fizzy water to shake up and spray about like champagne which the kids found hilarious.

Later at judo CyclopsJnr had his grading and has progressed to yellow belt.
