Warm clouds

A very busy day of volunteering shifts. All went well. When I drove home in the early evening I was surprised at how high the temperature had climbed. Our garden is really struggling now from the lack of rain despite our careful watering regime. Some of the new planting is looking very poorly indeed. Meanwhile, we watched the RHS Chelsea gardens on TV that seems to be incredibly well irrigated!
