Penguin Droppings

Photobombed at 4 am

I woke up at 4am.  In the pre-dawn light I noticed the waning moon rising in the east.  I grabbed my camera and made 8 captures.  When I looked at them on the computer later, I saw that a seagull had photobombed two of them.

As well as the moon, you might also be able to make out Venus rising - near the pencil-line of cloud in front and above the tanker.

I was also at the bird hide but only took images similar to those already blipped.  All bird families are unchanged.  Orange-tip caterpillars still present.  Wasps still absent.
