Iris

Travel this morning was without problems.   Saw lots of Sunderland fans at the station...... they were heading for London/Wembley but as my train was only going to York it wasn't busy.

Becky and Astrid met me at Northallerton Station and we walked to their house to drop off my suitcase. Astrid pulled it all the way.  

Quick turnaround and then we walked to Northallerton. Did a bit of shopping, had a coffee and brownie in Hotel Chocolat and then went to the park.  We were there about an hour.  Astrid raced around going on all the equipment while Becky and I sat on a bench in the sunshine.

Found this lovely Iris in the park for Flower Friday. 

Then back home where I gave Astrid a bag of old toys that used to belong to Becky and Neil......there were a couple of Barbie dolls lots of Dinkey cars and a singing unicorn..

Mike did BBQ food for our evening meal and we ate it in the garden... After Astrid went to bed we watched TV for a while. 

Early start tomorrow..... Becky and Mike are doing a Parkrun so I will stay here and look after Astrid.  Astrid usually goes to the Parkuns and either Becky or Mike  will push her in the special running buggy..... so tomorrow they will get the chance to run it on their own. .

No chance to do any comments.  Will try and catch up when I can.
