Grand Junction to Denver

We were up, had breakfast and packed in good time to take the short walk to the station.  We even managed to fit everything back in the suitcases. 

At the station we asked if we were better to check the baggage and the lady advised that we were, so that done we sat and waited for our train.  It was late coming in, we watched it roll in (my blip) and then had a quick look to make sure our bags were on the cart to be loaded and then we found our carriage and our little room (see extra).

We settled in and soon the train was rolling. It trundles along and we watched the world go past. The trip was about 8 hours and we were given lunch and dinner.  It was relaxing and the views were fab.

We arrived in Denver and walked to our hotel, got sorted went back out for a walk and then back to bed.
