Grays Court Hotel York

We had planned to go to Whitby but then remembered it was bank holiday and the traffic would be bad, assuming it’ be like the Lakes on a Friday.
So we stayed in York visiting the National Railway museum, we completed the walls where I took my blip, we were going to visit more museums but it was too hot to be inside.
We walked past Clifford’s Tower had a walk along the river walking 12 miles altogether.
We had drinks at the Minster Refectory and I had a strawberry and cream ice cream from a shop in the shambles the hubby didn’t want one he wasn’t impressed with the shambles too busy for him.

Back to the hotel for drinks then later we had dinner.
