Another lovely walk

This morning at Ashton Court, with my friend C and her dog who likes to lie in puddles and ponds. This view is looking south, the village on the distant hill is called Dundry. We actually couldn’t walk that far today as there were lots of temporary fences up in preparation for the festival this weekend called Love Saves the Day. I thought the wild areas around the edge, where wildflowers are left to grow, looked really lovely.
In the evening I went to see the new Wes Anderson film, the Phoenician Scheme, with my film friend H. I enjoyed watching it, but because it was rather clever, rather than touching me emotionally. The Orkney girls are away.
