Unfurling

……….. a brand new bloom on a cow parsley type plant on the field’s edge.

Had to take hubby’s car into the main dealer because t kept giving us a dashboard message “inspection due in * days”, with no clue what the inspection was for. The air conditioning needs regassing so hubby asked for that to be done at the same time.
The dealership is 15 miles away and they wanted the car in really early, so it was a very early start for me. I finally negotiated the roadworks nearby that took ages and collected hubby. We were not even out of the car park when the technician phoned to ask what the problem was with the air conditioning and after a long drawn out conversation hubby was forced to agree to a diagnostic before they would regas it, grrrrr. However, we thought as it had already been taken in it might be done by lunchtime ……. how wrong we were!
At 1pm they phoned to say it was only just going in for the diagnostic!!!!!
We heard nothing more all afternoon and we were unable to get through to them, so we set off to collect it at 4.30pm in the hope that they would phone en route. It took over an hour and a half to do a 40min journey in rush hour, grrrrrr, but hubby did finally get through after trying constantly and it would be ready.
A long an exhausting day culminated in them saying that they found faults that would cost £3,500 to put right ( including the air conditioning) !!!!!!!! Hubby has only had the car 18 months and it’s not all that old.
We don’t believe half the things really need doing and hubby had never really liked the car ( something he found out a couple of weeks after he got it ), so we are thinking of changing it …….. rest assured it won’t be another one of the same brand, humph :-((
