Presentation day

I was up early and practiced twice, took a couple of slides out as it was longer than 40mins. I was on after morning coffee, I had checked everything with the sound and vision team, and looked ok. During my introduction, I noticed the huge screen wasn’t working correctly. I started the presentation without the slides…. Then stopped as there apparently had been a power surge, then they needed 10mins to fix. So then a little break, and back up again! It went pretty well, then when I started again! The slide shows the view over the pool at the resort.
After a late lunch, the main conference was over, and had a couple of hours to enjoy the pool, walk along the beach, catch up with people. We had a drink at the beach bar watched the sea, and sunset, then had a nice buffet dinner. An early night was in order ;-)
