My passport was lying around in the living room - we're not always so casual about such important documents by the way, there was checking-in for next week afoot - and I happened to flick through it looking at the various stamps. This one leapt out at me as I was also deep in the throes of trying to find ways to watch the night's Napoli game without having the displeasure of having to fork out £30.99 on Discovery+.

So, we were in Naples two years ago when the third scudetto was on the brink of being won - they were miles ahead, it was a formality, definitely 'when' rather than 'if' - and the city was absolutely ridiculously decorated to the nth degree, just waiting for the party to kick off. Quite incredible.

This year it came down to the very last game, a game that I ended following on live text (the new Ceefax!) and they did it. I watched plenty of online clips later as well though and, like many of us I'm sure, am still left wondering...how on earth could they sell that man?

Great Scott
