At the Slip

We beat a retreat from Hoy today; overnight dampness was welcome but a two or three days of non-stop rain are required.  Very misty and damp at the Lyness boat repair yard.  Back at HQ and the Current Mrs Creel departed to rehearse for her Strathspey and Reel gig ; I picked spinach.  It just had to happen.  It’s the Craig Patton band tonight in the Stenness Hall.  Amazingly it has Tom Orr on keyboards.  It would be mad to miss.
