Another Day, Another Pipe Band

I wandered past two pipe bands this lunchtime, both from New Zealand. The World Pipe Band Championships are a big event....

People make fun of bagpipes (and morris dancing) but I like them (both). We should respect our traditional music and dance. And if you believe some historians, the bagpipes are just another thing the Romans did for us.
