Iris and Bee

The predicted rain started last evening and it rained gentle rain for most of the evening.  And today it has rained quite a bit, gentle rain which is so good for the garden.

We pottered away the morning, and in the afternoon did some retail therapy down in the Valley.  And of course had cake!  Lots of people had the same idea.

Bob has a tub of beautiful irises, and this bee was quite fascinating, flitting from one bloom to the other and back again.  Lots of pollen collected!
