Birdwatchers and burnt-tips

A rich day of experiences. We have been to several bird locations. My husband was happy even though it has continued to blow heavily and the birds have been less visible. But we have seen an incredible number of common shellducks and it is fun to see this beautiful bird. 
My husband watches birds and I watch him and other dedicated birdwatchers who line up to discover something. I actually have some fun about it. Maybe I should not.
 Extra: We also went to Alvaret to look for my favourite orchid, burnt-tip orchid. We had to search for a long time and walk far because it was so incredibly dry. But in the end we found it. And several other orchids. 
The sky was dark and threatening, but there was no rain.
