Ramblings and Mutterings

Success

Up early again to head into the office before the training programme. My young padawan had a lie in as she was out until 1:30am. Youngsters hey? Lol!

It was wet on the way to the office, thankfully it was only drizzle.

I picked up my breakfast from a well know chain of coffee/sandwich shops PAM. I forgot to get some honey for my porridge, so I was a bit annoyed.

I had the job of kicking off the day on storytelling, which I enjoy. We then had a guest speaker from our investor. We've got a good relationship, unfortunately our global business has cut us out from that contact now, which is very annoying. He was great as usual and he handed over the graduation awards to the participants.

My young padawan was amazing as always and now we have to support all the participants through their projects.

After we'd finished I told her to get away home. She'd collected this very heavy box of wine on Monday and it nearly killed her. So, I told her to put all the bottles in my laptop rucksack and I'd carry them to the train station for her. She made her train and we swapped the wine over again and she was able to get home safely with her wedding wine.

In the evening I headed out to the West End to see the play The Deep Blue Sea starring Tamsin Grieg. I'm not going to lie, I found the play very depressing and I struggled to have much empathy for the main characters. Anyway, it was a night out so that's a positive.

On the way back to the hotel there were a lot of Spurs fans celebrating their win in the Europa League after they beat Man Utd. Fancy losing to Spurs, how embarrassing for Man Utd. Lol!

Today I am thankful for:

1.  A successful final day of our training programme for cohort one
2.  A great performance by my young padawan
3.  Getting her wedding wine successfully across London without injury
4.  An evening out, even if the play was depressing
