Chilean Lantern Tree

The office was very empty today, I think it was a school holiday. It’s amazing how very quickly you lose touch with the school calendar once your child is done with school. In our area of the office there were only three of us!

I didn’t get out for a sandwich till late on, due to meetings over lunchtime.  I couldn’t believe it when I left the building, as it was raining. Not heavy, but spotting. I didn’t go far to pick up a sandwich, but the rain had stopped when I came out of the shop, so I did a quick circuit of Princes Street Gardens, before heading back to the office.

I also had my end year review today, thankfully it went well.  BB must have headed home at some point as he was gone by the time we got home.

I spotted this Chilean lantern tree in Princes Street Gardens, in full bloom. It brightened up a dull day.
