Tattoo Time

I’ve been wanting this tattoo since I finished the London marathon. Today I finally got it done. I was given some money for my 40th birthday and wanted to get something that would last. A tattoo certainly covers that criteria!

It didn’t hurt as much as I was expecting and I am sure it will look amazing when it’s healed. I hope so anyway. Personally, I love it!

It wasn’t my first tattoo. I have a small cross on my shoulder, that I got when I was 18. I want a few more but I haven’t decided where on my body they are going yet. I will only get tattoos that mean something significant as well.

The cross is my faith, the medal represents my proudest accomplishment to date and reminds me I can do anything!
