Blackberry blossom

We had rain!! I'm not usually a fan but it's been so dry. The rain stopped mid-morning and then later the sun appeared also it became breezy.

After breakfast I walked to the shops and round to see K for coffee. At home I had lunch then baked a fruit cake and lemon and blueberry loaf. Took a walk round the fields, taking photos and picking up litter then stopped for a cup of tea with K. I get upset by the lack of insects, birds and butterflies, the farmer doesn't help as hedgerows seem to disappear and as soon as any wildflowers etc appear they are mown down. I'm pleased that we have the marsh areas and seawall nearby.
