Rhubarb

My official birthday celebration took place on this (planned) sunny afternoon with some friends in my garden, the extra lacks my neighbour, who arrived a bit later. The highlight for the youngest member of the event, apart from the ice cream, was discovering the full size of a rhubarb, he played around with it for quite a while.
The event was very successful, a rhubarb pie with ice cream or vanilla sauce or cream or all of it can't ever be wrong, paired with a cup of coffee or tea, a Baileys and good company made it a very pleasant afternoon. Somehow it felt like the beginning of the summer, we're expecting some warmer temperatures next week.
