Ben Vrackie

Another scenic railway journey, this time to Pitlochry, the starting point for Ben Vrackie which overlooks the town. Great to meet new folk, who were attracted to a “strenuous” walk. Just eight of us in total which made for good conversation; and some poetry from a Helensburgh Rambler who joined us.
Clear at the top with fine views to Beinn a’Ghlo and the Cairngorms in the far distance.
The gorilla glue on my boots held up, however more faults have appeared. Hopefully further applications will be as successful as the first.
