Change…

…of plans.
Vic went down to his stretch of the River Wye to meet up with friends and I was going to have a day in Hay.
It all seemed too much when I woke up and I Jyst didn’t fancy it somehow.. not like me, I love spending time in all the book shops in Hay.. and the festival is in.
I thought I’d just have a walk in Sutton Park and do a bit of much needed gardening as it had rained and the ground was soft.
As it happened I didn’t t even leave the house!
A heavy gargoyle that sat on top of Vic’s shed had fallen off.. crashed to the ground smashing a chair and tin bath.
Thank goodness there wasn’t a cat underneath, or a human!
So the whole of that particular corner needed revamping and an unpainted part of the shed that had been exposed, needed painting!
At least a few good jobs got done without distraction, though I’ve still many little seedlings waiting to find their forever home!
