Comfrey

We woke this morning to a cloudy sky although it’s still rather warm. I was down to the allotment first thing to plant the remaining sweetcorn plants. All was done and as l walked back there were several fellow allotment holders muttering about the forecast rain. Not surprisingly to us it didn’t materialise and hasn’t yet so far. Maybe during the night, we shall see.

A morning of food shopping in preparation for our daughter’s family who are visiting. Sourdough was made and some squash or maybe they are courgettes planted out on the allotment.

Today’s blip is of the comfrey plant which are growing on the allotment.
