Another day of painting, another EB!

So, another EB!

I was rooting in the cupboard and came across my old oxo tin. I grew up seeing the adverts on TV, my mum used them and it wouldn’t have crossed my mind to use anything else when I left home.

Then came the Covid/Brexit/manufacturing and retail profiteering debacle of the early 2020s & beyond and the price went through the roof.

When I ran out and they’d reached crazy pounds, I just stopped buying them and I’ve never gone back. Sad really, but hey ho - turns out there ARE other options!

I imagine the other big brands who all took the opportunity to shamelessly whack their prices up (Heinz was another one) will be sorry now that shoppers have found alternatives & not bothered going back!
